This grade two listed building has seen a few changes through the years and we believe it was The Whip Inn in the 18th century, Mrs M. Blanchards refreshment rooms in the 1930’s to more recently a cafe and tapas bar. We are putting in a few changes, with the help of the Fitzwilliam estate, by opening up the fireplaces and knocking through a few walls. Once we’re finished we will have a warm, welcoming pub-restaurant with freshly made, locally sourced food in an informal, relaxed meeting place for people to eat, drink and chat in a friendly atmosphere, all day long.
